Our Clients

The businesses we work with run the gamut from local chemical plants to global energy companies. But they all come to us with one ultimate goal – workforce excellence.

Here are a few examples of how we’ve helped clients develop excellence:

Major Saudi Arabian Chemical Complex

For this new “Greenfield” chemical facility, we were asked to develop training curriculum and operating procedures for nine new process units, utilities and shipping.

For this client we:

  • Performed job task inventories/analyses to define required operating procedures and training design for each unit.
  • Designed classroom training and developed lesson plans for each unit.
  • Developed and delivered a four-day train-the-trainer session for all operations trainers at the site.

Major Global Client

Now and for more than eight years, TDS has supported a major client with their project management virtual college to prepare future project leaders worldwide. We work with the course custodians on many different levels.

For this client we:

  • Determine course development needs
  • Provide custom course creation
  • Ensure courses are aligned with organizational competencies
  • Review materials/content to assure quality of material delivery
  • Act as liaison between course custodians
  • Provide ongoing consulting relating to course development
  • Publish supporting bulletins twice a year.

Specialty Chemical Plant

This chemical manufacturing company identified the need for supervisory development for its current, step-up and future supervisors. The plant manager was looking for an effective, sustainable way to develop his supervisors that would make a real difference in the supervisors’ behavior.

For this client, we employed our three-phase Front Line Supervisory Development (FLSD) program. Results included:

  • Improved communication between supervisors and direct reports
  • Improved relationships between supervisors and superintendents/managers
  • Overall cohesiveness in units – shared goals and pathways
  • Stronger teamwork among supervisors from different departments and shifts
  • Better unit infrastructure leading to less waste, mistakes, accidents

Major Gulf Coast Refinery

In developing new environmental policies related to site permitting, the client asked TDS to develop training for several audiences in the facility. They also needed it in an eLearning format for flexible implementation purposes as well as a set of job aids.

For this client we:

  • Worked with subject matter experts to provide instructional design and technology expertise
  • Produced training modules for the company’s learning management system
