TDS offers competitive benefits to all of our full-time employees and their families.


Medical / Dental / Vision

TDS offers employees a variety of plans to choose from. Healthcare benefits are with United Health Care. There are three medical plans to choose from, two dental plans and one vision plan. The company pays an average of 80% of the premium on behalf of the employee.


Short Term Disability: The company provides short term disability benefits to employees at no cost to the employee.
Long Term Disability: TDS pays for long term disability for employees.

Life / AD&D

Life Insurance: TDS pays for $50,000 of life insurance per employee.
AD&D: TDS pays for $50,000 of AD&D coverage per employee.


Paid Time Off

We offer generous vacation and sick leave, using the accrual system, to our employees who work at least 30 hours per week. Based on 40 hours per week, employees receive:

  • 12 days vacation per year (after 6 months of employment)
  • 10 days of sick leave per anniversary year (after 6 months of employment)
  • 9 paid holidays each year


Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Accounts

TDS offers the option of flexible spending accounts for dependent care and medical expenses.

Health Savings Account

The HSA is tied to one of the insurance options. If the employee is enrolled in the applicable insurance plan, the company makes a monthly contribution to the HSA on the employee’s behalf. That money can be used towards medical expenses as the employee chooses.



TDS offers a 401k to employees and contributes 3% after the employee contributes 6%.


Remote Productivity Plan

TDS recognizes the importance of “work-life balance” in all of our employees’ lives. Because of that, we are committed to providing flexible working arrangements to those employees eligible under the “Remote Productivity Plan.”
