Medical / Dental / Vision
TDS offers employees a variety of plans to choose from. Healthcare benefits are with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. There are two medical plans to choose from, two dental plans and one vision plan. The company pays an average of 85-90% of the premium on behalf of the employee.
Short Term Disability: The company provides short term disability benefits to employees at no cost to the employee.
Long Term Disability: The company provides long term disability benefits to employees at no cost to the employee.
Life / AD&D
Life Insurance: TDS pays for $50,000 of life insurance per employee.
AD&D: TDS pays for $50,000 of AD&D coverage per employee.
Paid Time Off
We offer generous vacation and sick leave, using the accrual system, to our employees who work at least 30 hours per week. Based on 40 hours per week, employees receive:
- 12 days vacation per year (after 6 months of employment)
- 10 days of sick leave per anniversary year (after 6 months of employment)
- 9 paid holidays each year
Flexible Spending Accounts
TDS offers the option of flexible spending accounts for dependent care and medical expenses.
TDS offers a 401k to employees and contributes 3% after the employee contributes 6%.
