TDS is affiliated with key professional organizations and all of our processes and procedures meet or exceed industry standards.

AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers)
By being affiliated with the world’s leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, TDS is able to improve our learning solutions by staying abreast of advances in chemical processing and emerging areas, such as biotechnology.

We are also affiliated with AIChE’s nonprofit corporate membership organization CCPS (Center for Chemical Process Safety), which allows us to leverage knowledge of industry safety needs in order to provide more comprehensive services to our clients.

ATD (Association for Talent Development)
The ATD is the world’s largest association dedicated to workplace learning and development professionals. Our staff regularly attends conferences and professional development events held by ATD and studies the organization’s publications to stay on top of industry developments.

ATD Houston Chapter
TDS supports the ATD Houston Chapter by providing speakers for meetings and conferences, appointing a leader for the Southeast Houston Community Training Network and encouraging employees to attend various professional development events hosted by the chapter.

ACIT (Association of Chemical Industry of Texas)
ACIT is composed of businesses that share a symbiotic relationship with the Texas chemical industry. Combined, these companies act as a support system for the chemical industry, while the industry provides them with a strong marketplace. TDS is an active participant in a few key committees.

NAPTA (North American Process Technology Alliance)
NAPTA (formerly The Gulf Coast Process Technology Alliance – GCPTA) is an organization of the Process Technology (PTEC) education providers and their business, industry and community advisors cooperatively working toward their common goals. TDS has been involved with NAPTA since it began in the mid 90s and helped develop its first standardized curriculum. We continue to support this alliance by providing speakers to their events, having booths at their conferences and serving on various committees.

AFPM (American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers)
AFPM is a trade association representing high-tech American manufacturers of virtually the entire U.S. supply of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, other fuels and home heating oil, as well as the petrochemicals used as building blocks for thousands of vital products. TDS relies on this association to keep abreast of its clients’ future initiatives and challenges.

VPPPA (Voluntary Protection Program Participants Association) Our association with VPPPA provides opportunities for us to access occupational safety, health and environmental leaders with networking and educational offerings, up-to-the-minute legislative information, industry advancements, preferred vendors and consultants dedicated to VPP, mentoring opportunities, professional development and volunteer opportunities.

Bilateral U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce
The Bilateral U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce (BUSACC) is a private business association that serves as a conduit to create strategic connections between prominent U.S. and Middle East/North Africa (MENA) private sector enterprises, government officials, trade development agencies, and academic institutions. TDS has expanded our market to include MENA and we are active in BUSACC to gain a deeper understanding of the many valuable possibilities that exist between the U.S. and this culturally and economically diverse region.

BRATECC (Brazil-Texas Chamber of Commerce)
As TDS expands internationally, Brazil offers many possibilities for our products and services. Our membership in BRATECC gives us access to seminars and workshops, information on current issues and special events, networking opportunities and business referrals.

Economic Alliance Houston Port Region
The Economic Alliance Houston Port Region, a non-profit organization created in 1985, provides professional economic development services on behalf of 16 communities surrounding the 25-mile Houston Ship Channel. TDS participates in its annual Petrochemical and Maritime Outlook Conference and attend other meetings and banquets.

The eLearning Guild
As a member-driven organization, the Guild produces conferences, online events, e-books, research reports, and Learning Solutions Magazine-all devoted to the idea that the people who know the most about making eLearning successful, are the people who produce eLearning every day in corporate, government, and academic settings. TDS is well aware of the benefits of eLearning, and as a Premier Member of this organization we are able to maintain our education in the latest trends and innovations in this technology arena.
