Troy Waters Attends AFPM

Troy Waters attended the AFPM International Petrochemical Conference in San Antonio. This year’s conference offered sessions covering key political, economic, and environmental issues affecting the petrochemical industry. The speakers, nationally known journalists, political strategists and the former US Secretary of Defense, Dr. Robert Gates, emphasized global competitiveness in the industry.

Robin Knowles Attends AiChE

TDS CEO Robin Knowles attended the AiChE Spring Meeting & 8^th Global Congress on Process Safety in Houston.  A technical conference for practicing chemical engineers, it focused on current industry needs, critical needs of process safety practitioners as well as leadership behaviors.

Learning Solutions Conference in Orlando

Melissa Collins, TDS Instructional Designer, attended “Learning Solutions Conference and Expo” in Orlando, Florida March 21-23.  This conference, hosted by the ELearning Guild (http://www.elearningguild.com/), focused on ways to effectively create, deploy, and manage technology-based training solutions.

Chemical Associations Offer Reverse Tradeshow

Association of Chemical Industry in Texas, ACIT, the East Harris County Manufacturers Association, and the Economic Alliance – Houston Port Region are hosting a reverse trade show. Representatives from owner companies will be available to answer questions and visit with attendees on "How to do Business" with their company.

The TDS Quarterly Employee Recognition program “Top Dog Award” is designed to motivate, recognize and reward deserving employees who go above and beyond for the company.  The winning employee for 2012 Qtr 1 is Troy Waters, one of our Sales Executives.  As the winner, he received the  “Top Dog” statue, a gift card and lots of kudos from fellow employees.  The winner and the CEO select the winner for the next quarter.
