Chief Operating Officer, Dave Vardell, Joins TDS Management Team

HOUSTON - Dave Vardell joins Training & Development Systems, Inc. (TDS) as Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will report directly to the CEO with responsibility for the company's day-to-day operating activities including project management, customer service and all related financial activities.

Dave's passion is building individual and organizational excellence through people. He is an executive growth and change leader who has provided leading results in four different industries including entrepreneurial and Fortune 50 companies. His consistent track record in identifying and implementing strategic initiatives has grown companies to $240 million, while reducing operating costs, and improving profits.

In previous capacities, Dave was Region Manager for Abitibi Consolidated Corp in Houston (an International newsprint, commercial paper, and wood products company), where he provided leadership for the company's Canadian branch and six U.S. branches involving operations, sales, and administration. Previously, he was COO and Vice President of Dominion Lasercom, Inc., a high tech telecommunications products company in College Station, TX, and Vice President-North America of Nexcycle, Inc., a post consumer and industrial glass processing company based in Dallas.

Vardell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Virginia Tech.
