Training Coordinator

Position Description
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting project teams in the design, development, proof reading, production and distribution of training solutions for clients. These solutions may include paper-based and electronic materials, as well as other types of deliverables (training collateral).

As a team member, you will also be responsible for tracking project activities including purchasing training supplies and assisting with client defined needs. You will process training transactions in an internal or client learning management system.

You will be expected to maintain professional working relationships when communicating and assisting clients, employees and contractors. General office duties include ordering supplies, updating internal office procedures, running errands off site, sharing phone coverage, tracking inventory and assisting office staff with special projects.

Some overtime and local travel may be required.

You may be asked to assist with day-to-day office operations.

Work Experience
At least three years of office experience using Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Two years of experience editing and proof reading documents and written materials. Experience with templates and layout design desirable. Two years of experience working on a project team of at least three members. One year of experience handling learning administration and logistics, and tracking projects activities. Direct client support a plus.

Knowledge and Skills
  Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
  Intermediate skills in MS Word templates
  Intermediate skills in Internet Explorer
  Intermediate skills in learning management systems
  Tested and proven editing and proofing skills
  Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  Intermediate skills in all MS Outlook functions
  Proven organizational skills and flexibility
  Type at least 60 wpm

Physical Demands
Physical demands for the position include lifting and moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds, standing for extended periods of time (4-6 hours), operating and troubleshooting office equipment. Some travel may be required.

Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Some college preferred
