Barry Hardy
Founder and President
Training & Development Systems, Inc.
As
founder and CEO of Training & Development Systems, Inc. (TDS), Barry
Hardy focuses his attention on the organization and management of employee
training and development. Since establishing his company in 1993, he
employs 50 people and has been recognized as one of the most experienced
and knowledgeable professionals on organizational training and development
in the Gulf Coast Area. Before launching TDS, Hardy enjoyed a successful
twenty-year career with Amoco Chemical Company.
He has presented papers and lectures for such organizations and associations
as the University of Houston, American Society for Training and Development
and the Houston Business Roundtable. |

In 1991-92, Hardy served on the
University of Houston College of
Technology Curriculum Advisory Committee for Training and Development.
He helped develop the process operator curriculum for College of the
Mainland's two-year associate degree program and provides the required
instructor training to those selected to teach courses within the program.
He is a past chairman of the American Petroleum Institute's (API) Gulf
Coast Committee on Training and Development and a national member of
the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
Hardy holds a bachelor of science degree in training and development
from the University of Houston. He is certified to conduct internal
ISO quality system audits and is certified by Philip Crosby Associates
as an instructor in Quality Improvement and Prevention Implementation.
A native of Santa Fe, Texas, Hardy has three children and currently
resides in Clear Lake, Texas.
